Former British Army sniper Christopher Pizzman, 38, was killed in Ukraine after volunteering to fight Putin's forces. He died on a mission after joining a unit of Western volunteers in Ukraine.
He had also served in Kosovo and Iraq as part of Fusiliers' Royal Regiment.
He made his first trip to Lviv to western Ukraine shortly after the 24 February invasion.
Initially it was intended to train Ukrainian troops, but it joined the front line in the southeast of the country after a commander said they needed an urgent need for fighters, writes the Daily Mail.

He was part of a unit of foreign volunteers who fought for weeks along with troops from Ukraine to protect a vital bridge across the South Bug River between Odessa and Mykolaive using antitank weapons supplied by the United Kingdom to destroy Russian armor.
He travelled to the southeast of the war-torn country to take up arms on the front line after a local commander told him they were desperate for warriors, joining an intelligence team and then joining a Marine battalion.
He left his 11-year-old son behind.
His sister wrote on social networks: We broke our hearts and our world was broken. We lost Pizz Perryman. He died a real hero, fighting a war that wasn't his, I don't think we as a family would ever overcome this. He went to Ukraine to help others, and this cost him his life”.
