The Special Court has decided to suspend visits and communications for Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin and Rexhep Selimi.
The decision comes after claims by the Special Prosecutor's Office that the accused have violated judicial orders by revealing confidential information of protected witnesses and part of their testimony.
In this case, PDK MP Vlora Citaku has reacted, who has rejected the decision, stressing that the process is not offering justice.
The fact remains that the founders of this republic were kept in custody for two years without trial. A year of slow processes. At this rate they will remain in custody for another 10 years. You expect them not to discuss how annoying the process is? I respect the law. But this is not justice”, it wrote on platform X.
Citaku has criticised the specials' reasoning, saying that if the KLA founders have spoken about the witnesses of the Court with the visitors ʹ evidence that he has called <x0-cyfree>” even if they have made comments expressing doubts about the seriousness of witnesses and the judicial process, which, according to her, has nothing.
She has also said she comments on cases by the US Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
“A theme: Just read the special reasoning to put the KLA founders in isolation. So they talked to us random visitors? Funny evidence? And we commented? Of course. I comment on the US Supreme Court cases. The Kosovo Constitutional Court cases. And of these cases also”, she wrote away.
Citaku has also stressed the history of KLA founders who were held in custody for two years without trial and has voiced concern that at the actual pace of the process, they will remain in custody for another 10 years.
