But, Kosovo Police Union Chairman Imer Zeqiri for Online Journal.net has denied that such a protest will be held.
There's no protest from them. They will not protest either inside or outside”, he told Reporter.net, referring to reports that such a NSO protest would take place, not as yesterday, but simply with non-pression in their workplace.
The other day, members of the Special Interventing Unit, Kosovo Police's most elite unit, and those of the unit for handling explosives have protested in front of the Kosovo Government building.
They sought a change in job classification and greater additives of risk.
They have asked Prime Minister Kurti to reflect and to meet to discuss the implementation of their demands.
These two elite police units said they would not stop until the requirements are met, while asking not to be played with their dignity.
“We will not back down until they are realised. We invite the prime minister and Government to take concrete steps in their realisation. You honoured prime minister are well aware of the risks and threats these entity operators face all the time, not only during the performance of official duty but also in private life. So don't play with our dignity, the lives of our families. We have witnessed ourselves in many past cases and recently in neutralisation of the terrorist group on September 24th. We demand that the proposal for additional risks be revised and accepted by our demands, and we expect to meet soon and settle together. /main version of the news: illustration/
