Bajrami: Except for the government cabinet, with pay law no one has benefited

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has said that with the entry into force of the wage law, besides the government cabinet, no category has benefited.

She has stressed that with the new law, the categories have been stripped of additions such as risklessness and other additions.

If we talk about the police, the police have had the additions until the introduction of the salary law -- until January 1st of this year -- police have had the additions. If you ask me if those additions have always been paid in time, no, there's been delays. There have been cases when there wasn't enough budgets and the additions for 5-6 months were paid within a month”, Bajrami told ClanKosov.

“With the wage law, besides the government cabinet, almost no categories have benefited, and since there has been an inflation, the coefficiency, which was set up with the budget law last year, has not been enough, as is not enough, nor is the growth which is now occurring”, the former minister has suggested.
