American Ambassador at request: Increase the number of female police

US Ambassador Jeff Havenier said they believe women are essential to the success of the Kosovo Police Mission, to protect and serve Kosovo citizens.
He added that the US has priority in helping Kosovo's criminal justice sectors.
Ambassador Havenier claimed that we are not doing well globally as regards women's involvement in police and other justice organs. He added that he expects the Kosovo government to continue efforts to increase the figure of women participating in the police.
Meanwhile, OSCE representative in Kosovo Edward Anderson commended police women for their work until she said that the cause of the security they provide, citizens can sleep and walk in peace. He added that they would continue with support of the Kosovo Police.
Kosovo Police General Director Gazmend Hoxha highly praised the work of women police officers, until he added that they are the example of countries in the region in terms of results achieved.
Hoxha argued that they boast of the work of Kosovo police until she mentioned the ongoing challenges they had. / KP/
