As a result of the terrorist group's attacks, Kosovo Police Sergeant Africa Bulnjak has been killed.
Three attackers have been killed during clashes with police.
Kosovo Police Deputy Director Veton Elshani has told Radio Free Europe that in Tuesday's operation, police, including the special unit, are on the run.
However, he has announced that house searches in that area are not part of the operation.
“We just pulled the special units from Banjska, which means the risk level is down, but we needed more people. It's not unusual. We're trying to get the action to the end, but it depends on whether there's going to be anything”, Elshani said.
Kosovo police have found considerable quantities of weapons in this area even on September 30th.
Among the devices found are mentioned: rocket launchers (softs), long weapons and other military equipment, such as bulletproof vests.
Following the September 24th terrorist attack, police officials have also displayed grenade launchers, multiple automatic rifles, sniper rifles, military vehicles, explosives, detonators, found in the search operations in this village in northern Kosovo.
