President Vjosa Osmani has been hosting a meeting today by General Ozkan Ulutas after he took KFOR lead.
She has congratulated him on taking over the KFOR commander's office, expressing full confidence in close co-operation in the function of meeting common goals for peace and security in Kosovo and the region.
President Osmani stressed the importance of co-ordinating in successfully confronting the challenges of threats opened by Serbia trying to violate the country's security, stability and territorial integrity, especially in the wake of the September 24th terrorist attack on the country's north. In this direction, the president expressed gratitude for the reinforcement of KFOR troops, which are supporting Kosovo institutions on patrol of the border with Serbia.
For his part, General Ulutaş expressed gratitude and gratitude for President Osmani's reception, stressing that he would co-operate closely with President Osmani and all other local institutions to realise his responsibility in serving security and defence of peace and stability based on the mandate of the KFOR mission in Kosovo.
