Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has indicated the work done in two and a half years of government, saying the law has ruled in this period.

He has indicated that over a thousand operations against organised crime and smuggling have been conducted, while Kosovo police have arrested more than 3,000 and 800 people for serious criminal acts, among them more than 300 public officials.

The prime minister has announced that in co-operation with Montenegro and northern Macedonia, six are closed -- two illegal routes, respectively -- along the relevant borders Kosovo shares with these two states.

Meanwhile, unilaterally, in the northern part of the Republic, 24 illegal roads used for smuggling, trafficking and illegal border crossings from organised crime structures have been closed so far.
