Some 40,000 scholarships for research were shared in and out of the country, out of which over 2,900 for the STAM fields, giving special attention to girls studying these fields. The participation of girls in studies in the STEM fields at Pristina University currently stands at 50%, while the average of EU countries is 17%. In April of this year, we organized the conference “for the first time STEMinist”, dedicated to the importance of including girls and women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, which will now be part of the Government's annual calendar. In addition to university-level scholarships, we shared 500 scholarships for high school students from Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, as well as 400 thousand euros for support of 21 educational centres, which most benefit members of non- majority communities. In the meantime, we are building and renewing or adopting a total of 31 new nests.
