The PDK reports President Memli Krasniqi has held two separate meetings today with the Party's chairmanship and Branch Speakers across Kosovo.
The topic of discussion has been current political developments and the organisation of the country's Democratic Party of Kosovo, the party reports.
Mayor Memli Krasniqi has called it unacceptable and without full political responsibility, the boycott that power is making to the PDK-proposed Resolution, through which Kosovo Police would be specifically supported.
“According to Chairman Krasniqi, this boycott comes within the context of the irresponsible and retaliatory actions of this power during the entire mandate to date”, the announcement says.
According to the PDK <x0-regressing economics, international sanctions and the concern of citizens' welfare are just some of the consequences resulting from misgovernance, arrogance and continued corrupt relations of government officials”.
Also discussed at the meeting was President Vjosa Osmani's non-desirial state prosecutor, the decision that PDK is considering, which will eventually propose actions to address this issue, says. PDK.
During these meetings, Mayor Krasniqi has also welcomed the resolution adopted in the European Parliament, in which the September 24th terrorist attack on Banjska, where Kosovo Police Sergeant Afrem Bulnjak was killed.
The European Parliament's “request, in addition to investigating this case, to seek the removal of punitive measures against Kosovo, is encouraging news to our citizens and state”.
At the end of these meetings, President Memli Krasniqi announced the PDK's Chiefship and Branch Speakers for future steps of opposition and called for their commitment to implementing the party's vision.
“Mayor Krasniqi said Kosovo needs a creditable, capable and responsible Government which, in addition to working to improve the welfare of citizens, returns the country to the proper course of Euro-Atlantic integration”.
The leadership and PDK Branch Speakers expressed their readiness and commitment to engage in the mobilization of the PDK throughout the country, the PDK stresses.
