British MP Alicia Kearns, who is staying in Kosovo, in an interview for “Callos Pernime”, has talked about the terrorist attack on Zvecan Banisk, adding that an outside state is conducting investigations into the attack.
Asked which country he is, Kearns said he couldn't give any more details.
The “that I have understood one of the foreign states is making the investigation itself and this will become public, and of course the Government of Kosovo is conducting its investigation as well. Kosovo's government will see justice, see people on trial, as well as those who have survived the attack, those who have been witnesses deserve the day in court where Milan (Radoicic) should be on trial by rendering an account. ”
“I'm not sure if this is public knowledge so I will refrain from further comments on this”- she added.
Kearns has said that several times he has warned that there would be a transition to the situation in Kosovo, adding that during the visit to Kosovo, he also wanted to see weapons seized in the north of the country.
I'm very worried, I know this investigation is under way about what happened on September 24th, but I wanted to see for myself what weapons were found correctly, especially since I had alarmed a lot of money that happened to me. I also wished to meet with the family of the killed police and was privileged to be hosted at their home and gave me the opportunity to express my condolences for the fact that their father had been killed”, Deputy Kearns said.
According to her, seized weapons are military-ranking.
“They are heavy military weapons, they have Serbian inscriptions -- these are not weapons from Milosevic's time -- they are ancient weapons, some are but grants were dated 2021, and this is not the small amount of weapons that an organised crime group can secure. These are military-ranking weapons, many serialities that are not for low-level crime. I just got really worried about what I saw.
On September 24, 2023, a terrorist attack was carried out in Zvecan Banisk.
Africa Bulnjak, Kosovo Police Sergeant, was killed, another policeman was wounded and another was injured by the attack, while police were attacked several times in a row by the terrorist group until they fled in Serbia's direction.
On the critical day, police seized 24 vehicles, two vehicles and large arsenal weapons owned by the terrorist group.
The seizure of other weapons has been continuing since 24 September, which have been abandoned by the terrorist group in Banjska and the surrounding area.
Three people from this group were killed, and others were arrested. The bodies of the three killed surrendered on September 30, 2023 to their families after completing the necessary procedures by competent bodies.
He is the former Serbian List deputy ʹthe largest party of Serbs in Kosovo to have the support of the Serbian government, Milan Radojic, who has claimed responsibility for the attack while resigning from office to the party he belonged to.
Radojic said that the whole scenario was on his own, and no one had told him. These same claims were made through a letter that his authorized lawyer Goran Petronievic read Friday afternoon.
The September 24 terrorist attack was also severely condemned by internationals.
