Israel has denied that it was responsible for an explosion at a Gaza hospital, which Hamas claims killed at least 500 people and has others trapped in ruins.
Intelligence information has revealed that the attack that hit the al-Ahli hospital in the city of Gaza was a false missile by the terrorists of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Israeli Army has claimed, writes the Dailymail, past Periscopi.
But a spokesman for the Islamic Jihad has said this is “completely incorrect” and has charged IDF that “is trying to cover the terrible crime and the massacre they committed against civilians”.
Untested photos circulated in social media showed that the fire swept through hospital halls, broken glass, and body parts scattered throughout the area.
Hundreds of people reportedly were seeking refuge in hospital at the time of the explosion, which Hamas has called a terrible masacre and a crime of genocide, writes Dailymail, records Periscope.
The air strike came after the Israeli Protection Forces (IDF) ordered Palestinians to flee the city of Gaza and head south ahead of an expected land offensive.
Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas has also cancelled a planned meeting with US President Joe Biden, who was supposed to be held tomorrow in Jordan, in protest of the air strike.
