Hoxhaj: Borrell and Lajcak have been hiding since the assault on Banjska

Kosovo Deputy Speaker Enver Hoxhaj said the European Union and dialogue mediators are hiding after the act of aggression in Zvecan Banjsk on 24 September. According to him, there is no political process to turn institutions north of the country and diplomatic vision for international partners to impose sanctions on Serbia. [...]
So Hoxhaj said after the assembly of Kosovo's Parliament leadership, where he said the country continues to remain under EU sanctions, for which neither money can be accepted from international agreements. As he spoke of the September 24th attack, Hoxhaj said the EU has been hiding from that day.
“Borrel and Lajcak have been hiding for three weeks, do not appear in the media to say something concrete about what they want in relation to the situation in the north of the country. Do you think I take what Stano says seriously? While Albin Kurti, as Kosovo prime minister, has been in dialogue with Serbia, while Serbia was sold as a constructive party at the last meeting, an act of aggression on the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union has been hiding”, he said.
After the Kosovo Parliament's Headship Meeting, he said it is the prime minister's duty to answer to the Kosovo Assembly.
We have requested that the parliamentary majority be responsible for the mandate and work Kosovo's Parliament has. You know that where there is parliament, there is democracy, where parliament has no system, no democratic society. It is the prime minister's duty, it is the government's duty, the parliamentary majority, to render an account before the Kosovo Assembly. Accounting and control are functions that the Parliament has with the Constitution. That is also the spirit we have spoken at the Assembly of the Parliament's Headship, and thus we expect the government to be brought in on the topic of co-operation within institutions, parliamentary and opposition majority”, he said.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Enver Hoxhaj added that Kosovo continues to remain under sanctions even after the September 24th attack. According to him, the government would have to convince partners of sanctions against Serbia.
Our position is the debate over international agreements is not a doctrinal debate, but the problem with international agreements is that it has nothing to do with whether or not to vote or vote on, the problem is that Kosovo is under sanctions. And since Kosovo is under sanctions, money does not come to the Kosovo Assembly at all. And that's the truth that the government would have to tell the citizens of Kosovo. This country continues to remain under sanctions even after September 24th, where we have expected the government to carry out its work, and it is able to convince our partners to impose sanctions on Serbia following an act of aggression and terrorist attack”, he said.
After the chairmanship meeting, Hoxhaj was also asked to resign to the country's north.
The Democratic Party does not tell a mayor what he would have to do. Our concern is of this nature, what happened on the morning of September 24th is the great victory of the state, the Kosovo Police, is an event that makes the difference between what was before 24 September and what is now. And we are not seeing political process to reintegration the north, we are not seeing political process to turn institutions north of the country, and we are not seeing the process or diplomatic vision of how international partners in this new situation pressure to impose sanctions on Serbia”, Hoxhaj stressed.
Hoxhaj said the PDK, if it were in power, would use September 24th as a turning moment to complete Kosovo's construction state.
Hoxhaj considered that the Kurti Government has marred the internal consensus for dialogue and international one in relation to Kosovo. /kp/
