Haradinaj: Constitutional Court Continues to Be Guardian of Constitutional Order Protection

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has attended the 14th anniversary marking the Constitutional Court's founding ceremony.

Haradinaj has said this institution continues to be the guardian of the constitutional order in Kosovo.

“I had the honour of being part of the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, which was marked at a solemn ceremony and with an international conference on the topic: “The context of constitutional courts in defence and empowering of the fundamental values of democracy, rule of law and human rights”.

The Constitutional Court continues to be the guardian of the constitutional order. The functioning and efficiency of this institution should be taken as a model of functioning the judiciary in our country. This institution has had a key role in the development and democratisation of our institutions, in establishing rule of law, in consolidating the judicial order, as well as in protecting human freedoms and rights”, it says in its writing.
