Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi's adviser, Klisman Kadiu, has reacted to the Koha medium regarding the title “Kosovo accepts the modern plan for association.
This reaction says:
The title of the following interpretation is wrong and false and does not reflect the response given by the Government today. Prime Minister Kurti has accepted the meeting with leaders of Germany, France, Italy and the EU. Furthermore, it is about continuing discussions on the new plan, which includes full implementation of the basic agreement jointly with discussions on a draft for its Article 7. So it's about continuing discussions. Same, as it says in government response.
Below, full answer:
Prime Minister Kurti has responded positively to the 5 emisaries' request for a meeting with leaders of Germany, France, Italy and the President of the European Commission, in the margin of the European Council summit. The meeting will be meaningful to discussions launched with 5 emissaries during their visit to Pristina on October 21st, in which they proposed a new plan involving a fuller comprehensive implementation package of the Basic Agreement jointly with a proposed draft for implementation of Article 7. Prime Minister Kurti has voiced his agreement that this new plan will be the framework for continuing further discussions with allied states, the US, Germany, France and Italy, which would have to ensure a powerful component of security and also strengthen the prospect of membership in international organisations. The agenda and details of the meeting in Brussels have not been disclosed to Prime Minister Kurti, however, he is willing to get involved in container discussions on the condition that they are in line with the principle of inclusion.
