Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on Israel to stop its continuing attacks on Gaza and to exit this “state of madness” after intensifying its operations overnight.
The growing Israeli “Bundards and continued intensifying directed at Gaza have once again targeted innocent women, children and civilians, deepening the ongoing humanitarian crisis”, Erdogan said at X (former Twitter), wiretaps Telegrafi.
The president urged the Turkish nation to join a rally at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul scheduled for Saturday afternoon to show support for Palestinians where he is expected to deliver a speech.

The ongoing conflict began on October 7th, when the Palestinian group Hamas launched a surprise attack involving a series of missile and deregulations in Israel from land, sea and air.
Hamas said the attack was in retaliation for the attack on Al Aksa mosque and increased violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians.
The Israeli Army then launched a continuing bombing of Hamas' targets in Gaza.
The campaign intensified Friday evening after the military said it was expanding air and ground operations in the territory. It also cut off the internet and communications on surrounded territory.
At least 7,326 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks. About 70 percent of Palestinian deaths are women and children, according to official figures, while the death toll in Israel is more than 1,400.
In addition, the 2.3 million residents of Gaza are facing a lack of food, water and medicine due to Israel's massive air bombing and the total blockade.
The UN General Assembly late Friday adopted a resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire, but Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen called it the disgusting “” and dismissed it.
