According to the announcement the presidency has issued, political and security developments in Kosovo have been discussed at this meeting, following the September 24th terrorist attack.
Osmani has told the British MP that the so-called investigations conducted by local authorities, while continuing investigations by international partners, “testify that Serbia stands behind the September 24th attack on Zvecan Banisk, so it has called for punitive measures against Serbia”.
Regarding MP Kearns, Osmani has said that she has consistently shown her commitment to supporting Kosovo in affirmation of the truth, so she has thanked him on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
“Deputate Alicia Kearns is a prominent agent for Kosovo, so we expect that even further, her commitment will be in the function of presenting the real situation here, relying on arguments and facts, as she constantly does”, has stressed President Osmani.
Meanwhile, MP Kearns thanked President Osmani for the invitation and stressed her personal commitment to continue supporting Kosovo, but also the United Kingdom's commitment to working closely in promoting peace, stability and prosperity”, the report said.
British MP Alicia Kearns said in July that there are weapons being smuggled from Serbia to Kosovo through ambulances and being fired to Orthodox churches. She had declared that for this, British KFOR is aware.
“The government is aware, with Fusiliers [the British military regime] just back from serving KFOR, that there are weapons smuggling across the border from Serbia to Orthodox churches with ambulances. When our troops are aware of this and try to get permission to go and get them, the permits last very long. By the time he has an unexpected permission, an ambulance has already gone to church and fired all of his weapons” again.
