Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's son-in-law, Jammer Malltezi, has been arrested last night at the interior facilities of the Rinas airport while waiting for his wife.
Malltez is accused of passive corruption and cleaning up criminal products, or criminal activities, on the issue of privatising the former Partizan General.
According to SPAK, Berisha, to whom security measures have been set up “due to display”, his quality as prime minister of the Republic of Albania, has committed concrete and active actions, in adoption of laws or sub-legal acts, with the aim of adapting them according to the needs presented to five known property families, where the direct winner among others, resulted in his daughter's husband, Jamar Malltez.
Also, the SPAK report says that, on Berisha's part, active action has been taken on carrying out administrative controls, with the aim of exercising pressure and giving concrete orders to conclude privatisation procedures, but in favour of goods.
