The arrival of the big “” in Kosovo and Serbia confirmed on 21 October

European Union Special Emissar for Kosovo Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak and the United States for the Western Balkans, Gabirel Escobar, on 21 October will stay for a visit to Pristina and Belgrade accompanied by top advisers of leaders of Germany, France and Italy to meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin [...]
Their arrival in Kosovo and Serbia has confirmed to Euronews Serbia's EU spokesman, Peter Stano, who has added that the purpose of the visit is to achieve concrete progress in implementing the Agreement on the road to normalisation and de-exception following the September 24th terrorist attack on Bayja in Zvecan.
“We have clear expectations for the parties to continue the normalisation process and to meet their obligations without delay and” conditions, Stano said.
The visit of the important delegation of Western countries comes at a time when it is asking Kosovo for sanctions to be imposed following the terrorist attack on Zvecan Bay, where Sergeant Africa Bunnjak was killed.
On the other hand, Serbia has not distanced at all from this terrorist attack, rather it has proclaimed national mourning days in honour of the three terrorists killed.
Otherwise, on 14 September in Brussels, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, have met.
After the meeting, European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell had blamed the head of Kosovo's executive for his failure to accept the EU proposal for compromise.
