Veliu: Svechla's call to Germany is ridiculous

Former Minister of Internal Affairs Agim Veliu has called the request of Minister Jalal Svecla's request for Germany to accept Kosovo passports over the deadline due to the lack of material for the production of new passports. “would be justified if it happened at the beginning of the mandate, days of [...]
“would be justified if at the beginning of the mandate, the first days a man takes office and it is a reasonable time until the procedure is developed, but after two years of governance, citizens of the Republic cannot afford travel documents and other personal documents are unwarranted. Is the conflict in Ukraine even very funny? What does conflict in Ukraine have to do with travel documents to Kosovo?
Kosovo Assembly MP from the LDK ranks told Kosovo Prees that requests such as that against Germany also hurt the country's image.
This request is very ridiculous for me, to apply for a country to accept expired documents, I don't know who gets access to an expired document, because the condition for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo's citizens has a visa. Visas are not placed on passports that have no deadline. Those people who are equipped with visas should also have the validity of the document, otherwise they cannot access the visa equipment because it is a condition. This is a childly, ridiculous requirement, which certainly undermines the image of Kosovo, institutions, as it should be”, Veliu adds.
Veliu also said that in the time he was that minister, there has been no significant lack of documentation material.
There aren't many shortages in my time, even though we had to make quick supplies sometimes because of procedures that have been delayed and had complaints, but there is no serious lack of documentation after”, Veliu said.
Speaking of the lack of material for passports, Veliu said the government should be set on fire, otherwise according to him are damaging the country.
“at (LVV) have been very critical, have repeatedly attacked others for what it is doing, while after two years of government itself, it is seen that they are not even able to provide an elementary requirement of citizens with fundamental rights to personal travel documents. So they have to go back to work, clear, otherwise this country is making a huge damage to”, Veliu said.
Otherwise, there were many reactions to the lack of passport material over the past 24 hours. Exiles have remained unturned in the countries where they live, while citizens in Kosovo do not travel during the holiday season.
