Delivering a scripture published days ago for this competition, Gutierrez has called on the board not to elect political-related candidates.
“Today, the Kosovo Board of Directors of Public Broadcasting will vote for RTK Television Director. I call on RTK's board not to vote for candidates with political ties and direct and close ties to the ruling party, or any other political party”, the EFJ secretary wrote.
He says the public television management should remain fully independent of political parties.
If necessary, the call must be resumed, to find the most professionally qualified person, who is independent of political power”, Gutierrez wrote.
