Daciq, Hill sign new memorandum, Serbia benefits $1 billion

According to reports, they today signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Department and Serbia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Tanjung, Hill expressed satisfaction with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the appointment of the liaison officer, position for a Serbian diplomat who will work at the State Department.
We think this is a real possibility for our ministries to get closer and better know our diplomats. I think Serbia has tradition of good diplomats”, Hill said.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has declared that economic co-operation between the US and Serbia, the following year, has exceeded one billion dollars.
It is of great importance that more than 30,000 workers are employed by American companies in Serbia”, Dacic said at the joint press conference.
Dacic said they also expect a visit from State Secretary Anthony Blinken, as he said it would confirm the determination of the current US administration.
Based on the reporting of Serbian media, Hill has said he has discussed various issues they are facing and is expressing satisfaction that there is a common view of the problem.
It is clear that there are many things to be done in the world on issues that are very important, both for Serbia and for the US”, Hill said, and cited Russian aggression and the return of peace to Ukraine.
