Special Court Continues Prisoning Peter Shala

On September 19, 2022, Pre-Procedure Procedure Judge Guillou made the third decision on the victims' participation in the case against Peter Shala.
Six forgers of requests were accepted as participating victims in the trial process.
They will be included in the existing group 1 (which counted two participating victims) and will be represented by the same representative of the victims.
Shala was arrested on 16 March 2021 by Belgian authorities and transferred to The Hague on 15 April 2021, on a request for co-operation in implementing the warrants and ordering the transfer issued by Specialised Chambers.
On April 19, 2021, Shala had her first appearance before the judge of the preliminary procedure and pleaded innocent to all points of the indictment.
