Krasniqi, proposing 5 measures for the crisis -- one of them being withdrawn from the Trust -- said the country has a serious economic crisis from which citizens are becoming poorer every day.
“We ask the country's government to accept the fact that we are in a serious economic crisis and exploit instruments available to alleviate the crisis effects and help citizens raise prices steadily. To ease inflation, we urgently seek the 5 immediate measures: To free all essential goods for a 6-month period, to be eliminated for 6 months of excise for oil products, to release electricity from VAT and to subsidize 25 per cent energy bills for those who consume up to 12,000 kv, to increase wages for as much as the inflation rate is and to allow the withdrawal of up to 30 per cent of pension savings from the Trust, provided that the means of contributors that have less than 10 thousand euros in their retirement accounts, Krasni said.
