Health Minister Rifat Latifi has commented on criticism of his frequent trips abroad, reports Online Economy.
According to him, everyone has the right to criticize, but that the emergency health situation cannot be fixed overnight and that it will last a few more years.
He made these comments after meeting with Austrian MEP Lucas Mandl.
“The emergency health situation has been in health for years and will continue to be for a few more years, if you journalist or anyone else know how to regulate health overnight or a few months come I am pleased to welcome you”.
“Those who criticize have their right I asked you to have a little patience that medicine does not take place overnight”, Latifi said.
Regarding the lack of medicine, the minister said it is a serious problem, but, according to him, the Kosovo government has never given more money for drugs than this time. He added that there are 700 patients with various diseases that will have all the drugs.
The lack of drugs is a very serious problem, they are the special teams that deal with them, the health minister handles everything, but he can't handle only one aspect of drugs, yet the government has never given more money for drugs. Maybe we need a better management of all the process and indicators, for example. Rare diseases have never had funds more than they have this time. We've got 1700 patients with different diseases of yours and your throat here and the tuberculosis will have all of your <x1.
