Five people have been killed as a result of the clashes.
Thousands joined this protest, cheering “We will kill those who killed our sister”.
Women have marched without covers and cut their hair in protest of the 22-year-old murder.
The girl, who was a resident of the Iranian Kurdistan region, was on vacation with her family in Tehran when she was stopped by the police for allegedly dressed inappropriately.
She was sent with a van to a commissioner at Keschvarz Avenue in the capital and due to violence, fell into a coma and died a few days later.
