With participation in Defender Europe 2021 alongside 26 other countries and the immediate deployment of sanctions against Russia on one side, and the accommodation of over 1800 Afghan refugees and 9 journalists from Ukraine on the other, Kosovo has proved to be a secure partner and loyal ally in the international arena, Prime Minister Kurti said.
Cutting off the close ties and continued co-operation between Serbia and Russia, and the danger they pose for the region, Prime Minister Kurti said Kosovo and Japan have a special connection as two states committed to democratic governments, but also facing autocratic regimes in respective regions.
