However, there is still no agreement between the government and trade unions.
The strike will continue until the SBASK's demands are met. That's what the SBASK head says, Benderman Jasharaj.
He said it depends on the government when the strike will end.
“98.5% of institutions from nests to university and administrations are on strike. We've been expecting that Saturday-day Government won't have a vacation, but there will be reservations for education to meet and talk about any offer to overcome this situation, but it didn't happen. All that will happen and when the strike will end depends entirely on the Kurtiʹ government when it decides to implement our demands, and the strike continues by then”, he said.
The first SBASK said Kurti and Government are wanting the education strike to last.
“Kurti without any argument came up and declared that the SBASK was with them, and these, maybe the strikers had expected some positive news and it didn't, but Kurt and the Government are wanting this strike to last because of his statements you can't think positively”, Jasharaj said.
Otherwise, the School's Parents' Council “Faik Konica” in Pristina today has protested, as a sign of dissatisfaction with the failure to keep the teaching process. The SBASK request is also the distribution of 100 euros a month for teachers, until the adoption of the Law of Salaries.
