Through this decision, the Government proposes to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, extending emergency measures to power supply, with the aim of fully normalising the situation at the level of the extent and duration needed.
The extension of these measures is due to increased energy demand and the unstable state of electricity supply. Lack of energy is due to the age of current generation capacities, financial investments in this sector, and continued growth in consumption. This sets out the urgent need for the extension of measures for 30 days, due to needs that could be raised from the consequences of the international energy crisis”, the government's communique said.
