Balluk said the Albanian government since 2019 has promoted the resource diversification strategy, with two important projects -- the photovoltaic park of Karavasta and Vlora's TEC, which will work with liquid gas.
“From 2019 Albania has promoted a resource diversification strategy, which has not been driven by any crisis but has been a government strategy through two successful auctions one of which has started construction; Karavasta photovoltaic park. The next Hospital Park is preparing to follow the same path and an important step that is Vlora's TEC”, Balluk said.
Balluk explained that Vlora's TEC will turn into a regional project after it is supplied with liquid American gas and will enable the bringing of liquid American gas to be distributed in the region.
She said Vlora's TEC will be operational in December 2023 and it is a project that will start producing energy only a few months after it is put to work.
