Who are Emmanuel Bonne and Jens Plotner who will now deal with the Kosovo dialogue Serbia?

The first, Emmanuel Bonne, is the principal adviser to French president's foreign policy since 2019, and the second, Jens Plotner, has held the same position near the German carcinator since December 2021.

Both names will be the leading people engaged by the French president, Emmanuel Macron and by German carcinator Olaf Scholz, as the direct assistance of two European superpowers, to give a final solution to the problem between Kosovo and Serbia.

It became known this Sunday, in an open joint letter that Scholz's Macron sent to Alexander Vucic's Albin Kurti.

We have put our foreign policy and security advisers in charge of business, Mr. Jens Plotner and Mr. Emmanuel Bone, to directly support Miroslav Lajcak in his” efforts, the letter says.

Even both, along with Lajcak, are expected to visit Kosovo, “in order to find options, so that the process can move forward quickly.

Emmanuel Bonnie

Bonnie is a prominent name in French diplomacy. He is a career diplomat who serves as a president's adviser from 2019.

During this time, he's engaged in many roles by Macron. It's France's top man for the G7 Summit in the draft of the Joint Action Plan. He's engaged in Nord Stream 2 and the AU pact. KUS (Trilateral Act) and also the leading man in bilateral affairs with France's main partners.

Before the councillor came to Macro, Bonnie served as cabinet director at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (2017-19).

He came from the service as ambassador to Libya. But his important positions in French diplomacy begin since 2000, when he was engaged in Central Administration for the regions of North Africa and the Middle East.

Bones in diplomacy came from the academy, where as a political scientist he specialized in Middle Eastern issues.

Educated and graduate of the Institute for Political Science in Grenoble, Bonne has been working a long time and at political science institutes.

Jens Plotner

The wholeer has a journey much like Bonne, except it has a military overtones. He has a long career as a diplomat, and is adviser to the foreign and security policy of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since December 2021.

Prior to that position, from April 2019 to December 2021, he was Director of Political at the Federal Foreign Ministry.

In 1994 he entered the foreign service, and after carrying out his attachive training in 1996, he became a deputy office head of the Ministry of State at the German Foreign Ministry.

He had then worked at the Embassy Political Department in Israel from 1998 to 2002 before becoming spokesman for the Middle East and United Nations Affairs at the Federal Foreign Office until 2005.

After that, he was first vice spokesman for the Federal Foreign Ministry and later from 2007 to 2008 deputy director of Frank-Walter Steinmeier's ministerial office.

From 2009 to 2012, Jens Plotner was ambassador to Sri Lanka, a co-accredited Maldive. From June 2012 to 2014, Kontner was ambassador to Tunisia, following the retired Horst-Wolfram Kerll.

From 2014 to 2017, he was Chief of the Ministry's Office at the Federal Foreign Ministry (again under Foreign Minister Steinmeier). From July 2017 to March 2019, Plotner was ambassador to Greece.

In April 2019, the Federal Foreign Ministry Political Director was appointed, making him one of Foreign Minister Heiko Maas's closest associates.

After performing military service in Bundesver, Plotner first studied Justice, and then specialized in Public Law and International Law. Studies are conducted at universities such as Hamburg, Bordo, and Sorbonne. Political sciences are finished at the Institute for Policy in Paris. /alanitapost/
