American Intelligence: Russia granted $300m to various parties in the world

American intelligence has found that Russia has hidden $300m for foreign parties from 2014.

Reuters quoted an American intelligence official, who has expressed his concern that Russia will continue to finance political parties around the world.

This in order to reduce the effect of sanctions imposed by the West, Reuters reports.

It is cited that the funding has gone to party mainly of the right extreme with the aim of “the restoration of democracies”.

The intelligence official has called it a security threat such an investment from Moscow.

With this, the Kremlin is reaching out for influence worldwide, but especially in the European Union.
