Vuciq: No force within Kosovo could break up Serb barricades

Serbia's President, Aleksandar Vuciq, has suggested that the barricades of Serbs in the north of Kosovo were so strong that no force within Kosovo could break them.

So he said in an interview for public television RTS, which had barely convinced citizens to make their way through.

All night long and half of the day I tried with the leadership of Serbs to pull up the barricades, I know nobody would believe it, but they didn't want to get rid of it, the determination was bigger than ever, all forces weren't even close enough to break the barricades, they were ready to object. He is also proud of the unity he said he has with the Serb people in Kosovo.

Meanwhile, regarding the analyst's statement, Shzezen Maliqi said “Wucciq is unable to organise real barricades and activate armed paramilitary groups to pressure Kosovo, so he organises short-lived rebellion”, Vuciq said he has organised nothing but people himself.

The first of the Serbian state also spoke of meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurtin in Brussels, expected to be held on August 18th, which he said he expects nothing from that meeting, as, according to him, he knows nothing that can be discussed with Kurti.
