Shamia at school, Nagavci: Administration guidance remains in force, state character clearly defined

Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Arberia Nagavci, during a news conference, has been declared on a series of issues pertaining to the education system, starting in the new year, warnings of a SBASK strike, but also on the issue of allowing headscarves in schools. Nagavci, during her statement, has [...]
Nagavci, during her statement, has said that all preparations have already been made for the new school start, and that it has also been announced by schools.
“MA SHTI in co-ordination with municipalities and directors and schools I has made all necessary preparations for the school start. I'm reported that even schools are ready for the new start of school”, she said.
As for the warning of a SBASK strike, Nagavci said the minister recognises union organisation and better working conditions, but that not keeping teaching hurts students and violates their right to education.
“We have witnessed and followed the statement that the education union has warned strike on August 25th, acknowledging that we recognise union organisation and demand for better working conditions. But it should be suggested that failure to keep teaching harms students the most and violates their right to education. All categories of education workers have been dealt with with with with with with special care in the new Republic of Salaries Bill”, the minister has said.
She has also commented on the debate over allowing the headscarf in schools, saying there is no direction for the headscarf.
The minister has also been declared on this issue that the character of the state and Kosovo institutions is clearly defined.
“I want to make it clear that there are no administrative guidelines for the bandanna, there's never after what I know. All this recently established campaign is not to be based and sustainable. The character of our country and public institutions is clearly defined. The administrative guidance they referred to has to do with the management of high-school jobs. It's really that this administrative directive that has certain legal issues, because the preambles that it refers to does not specifically concern the competency of August. But the truth is that recommendations have been given for that instruction to remain in force, we cannot change a specific article. The guidance will remain in force and will only look away in the formal legal aspect”, Nagavci said.
