The Russian Defence Ministry said it had killed Ukrainian troops in an attack on the railway station in central Ukraine that Kiev said left 25 people dead, including children.
“As a result of a direct blow from an Iscarnder rocket on a military train at the Chapline railway station... more than 200 Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve soldiers and 10 military equipment units en route to the Donbas combat zone. ”, the Russian ministry said at its daily conference, AlJazeera reported.
Moscow also said it had destroyed eight Ukrainian combat aircraft in raids against air bases in Ukraine's Polanva and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
That would be one of the worst losses for the Ukrainian Air Force in recent weeks. /Express
