Guylain-Barre is a rare disorder in which the immune system attacks nerves. However, investigators are carefully following the case following recent reports where many of Putin's opponents had been poisoned to death.
Chubais, who had resigned and left Russia shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, had not indicated the reasons for his departure. His resignation was the highest in a series of officials' departures.
