Police catch nine people gambling at a villa in Ferizaj's Jezerc

Kosovo police have announced that on Thursday they received information that at a villa in the village of Jezerc in Ferizaj, some people are gambling illegally.

Police have indicated they have reacted immediately and have caught nine people gambling.

Police at the scene have found 301 chips converting to a lot of money and two sets of letters that have been confiscated.

Suspects have been escorted to the police station and later released in regular procedure.

At 00:05 a.m., Ferizaj Regional Police have accepted information that at a villa in the village of Jezerc of Ferizaj, it was suspected that some were conducting illegal activities, gambling. Regimental police station units in Ferizaj have reacted immediately and headed toward this location, where nine (9) people have encountered gambling. In this case, police have taken the necessary investigative actions, taking photos and material evidence have found a package of 301 chips converting to certain amounts of money and 2 pairs of cards used to gamble, which have been confiscated. After the suspected persons have been checked, the same have been escorted to the police station in Ferizaj and after the police interview, with the prosecutor's decision by the Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj has been issued criminal cases against the person with the initials P.V (M/K) of the 51-year-old age for the task of organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling) and all persons have been released for regular further investigation procedure”, police report.
