Police detail how they were attacked in Weyman: There were 10 shots from the rest of the lake.

Kosovo police, exactly, the police unit of the border control station, have been attacked today with firearms, while setting up a patrol boat at Weyman Lake.

Police have said there have been approximately 10 consecutive shots from the rest of the lake and have hit near the police boat.

According to the police, there's someone injured.

“Today, 06.08,2022 around 11:25, Police Station Police Unit for Border Control (SPMK) Zubin Potok, while setting up a patrol boat on Lake Weyman was attacked by fire.

The police unit has reported shootings in their direction. There were approximately 10 gunshot shots. The shooting has been followed by the rest of the lake and hit near the police boat. There are no hurt persons from these shootings”, says the announcement.

In assistance to the police unit has gone the International Border Police Intervention Unit. Police are continuing to monitor the ground and handle the case.
