According to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), two people were aboard a Cessna 340 and a third in a Cessna 152 when the two planes crashed.
The two small “aircraft were involved in a crash as their pilots were in the final approach of the Watsonville” municipal airport, a small facility about 120km south of San Francisco, the FAA explained.
The accident will be investigated by the US Federal Transport Safety Board (NTSB). /abcnews. al
