Obadiah: We're going into the hug with a government that has no plans and no idea how to make it through the worst winter.

LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has criticised the government over the lack of plans to face the winter, which has been warned to be among the hardest ever. The LDK's number one says the government has not taken steps to help families that have been hit by inflation, not facilitating wood and diaper prices, while adding that in September a new fiscal package should be ready.

Abdixhiku on his Facebook status says the government is only monitoring the situation in which the country is located. He also mentioned a Kurt statement saying that the current is not “returned to the fridge”. Abdixhiku says the state must precede the energy crisis with premature deals with other countries for import of the current.

This year's “Dirre will be the most serious Kosovo has ever experienced. Energy reductions and expensive bills would hit each Kosovo family and every business producer, businessman and servant indiscriminately. This new crisis does not originate in Kosovo, but its sustainability depends solely on the policies of the Government of Kosovo, which, although long warned, continues solely to observe. The current is not stored in the refrigerator, but it is purchased for tomorrow in Europe. The thermocentrics are repaired over time; alternative resources are prepared for production as they have closed today and interstate agreements are preceded when you face a catastrophic crisis like this our future, the region and the wider”, he writes.

He adds that in two years governance has not been invested in any new energy potential.

In two years of governance, no new energy potential is taking shape. The only generation project, the gas power plant, has been rejected in March 2021. Instead of production, batteries so power storage has taken priority. Before you deposit, you must produce. First I'm going to have to go. An energy depot without production is an investment from the bottom. And although we had all spring and summer available, no collection of alternative heating resources has been undertaken. Families hit with record inflation and with a lack of capital investments as never before, have not been warned of crisis, nor have wood prices, long fuel diapers. In September, when the summer is over, a new fiscal package should be ready; as subsidies and co-ordinations should be ready with energy institutions”, he added.

Abdixhiku follows further, saying the government will be reasoned by citing “20 years ago”

None of these measures are discussed in Kosovo today. We're going into the hug, with a government that has no plans and no idea how to get us through the hardest winter ever. Although he will do two years without leaving a single sign, even in a difficult winter, they will be served with common reasonings for the past 20 years”, he concludes.
