China today has sent a fleet of six ships, and over 50 fighter planes, including nuclear bombers to surround Taiwan, in the new war threatening movements, officials said.
As Beijing mounts pressure on self-governing Taiwan, a senior American Navy Admiral has said America must face “gorillas” Chinese.
China conducted its largest military exercises ever around Taiwan, in response to US senior politician Nancy Pelosi's visit and a delegation of Congress.
Taiwan's Defence Ministry said the latest inspection included 51 planes, including H-6 bombers, who are capable of sending nuclear weapons.
In response, Taiwanese warplanes were seen to rise to the sky, some armed with rockets.
A conflict could draw the US and other allies into a catastrophic battle of superpowers, experts warn.
It has been reported that China has placed its last submarine around Taiwan, loaded with weapons, including supersonic missiles aimed at sinking the powerful U.S. Navy aircraftmen.
In response to the war games, the U.S. Army staged a massive display of force over the Pacific, reports The Sun, broadcasting Clankosova.tv.
The US has reiterated support for Taiwan after China refused to rule out using force to capture the independent island.
