Serbia's Defence Ministry has come up with a statement saying that “within the framework of regular activities at bases and facilities in the Land Security Zone, the forces of Serbia's Armed Forces are conducting daily exercises for carrying out specific tasks”.
“The exercise is conducted in order to maintain the high degree of combat readiness of engaged units and their ability to react quickly in the event of need and to ensure peace and security on the administrative line with Kosovo”, the Serbian Defence Ministry's announcement said.
According to the ministry, <x0 during the stay on the base, members of Serbia's Armed Forces submit to various training content and particular attention is paid to the exercise of combat action in case of the entity, as well as tactics, techniques and procedures used to prevent illegal crossings, extremist groups' activities and organised crime”.
Serbia's <x0 Group Armed Forces Forces, which are committed to providing administrative line with Kosovo, develop training throughout the year, both before deployment and during the implementation of duties in the Land Security Zone, which ensures a high level of ability to respond to all challenges, risks and threats in their area of responsibility”, the report says.
We remember that the Serbian Army has already gathered in the border area with Kosovo, just when the Kosovo government has made decisions to implement reciprocity measures with the neighbouring state.
