Kusari-Lila: We will resist association

MP and the task of the head of the Vetevendosje Movement parliamentary group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, at a media conference Monday on August 8th said they would resist if the goal of establishing association is to strengthen a Serbia mechanism within Kosovo. Kusari-Lila said the reason to resist is [...]
Kusari-Lila said the reason that it will be resisted is that no “creditable reasons for improving the lives of Serbian citizens in Kosovo are being used.
She said the European Union and the United States of America “have unfortunately already understood Serbia's structural approach to Kosovo”.
“If the idea of establishing association and insisting on establishing association is to create and strengthen a Serbia operating mechanism in Kosovo, then of course we will resist as we have endured thus far”.
The association, Kusari considers, is just a mechanism through which Serbia would exercise its influence within Kosovo.
This impact, according to her “so far, is extremely negative. From regional initiatives, from problems in the country's north and continuing problematic situations leading up to what is already being seen by other countries of the EU as well, the US for the destructive and problematic approach of Serbia to the country”.
Kusari-Lila added that on September 1st, the government expects to start implementing the government's decision to replace illegal and reciprocity plates.
On the other hand, she also spoke of the Russian influence in Kosovo, which she said media work should be monitored because, as she estimates, the largest dezinformomi or tendencies for Russian influence is done through different media or networks”.
We remember that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will meet in Brussels together with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, just weeks after tensions in northern Kosovo.
Kurti has suggested that she will not discuss license plates and IDs, but will try to deal with a final agreement with Serbia. /Periscopi/
