The meeting has begun between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq in Brussels.
This meeting will also be mediated by European Union High Representative Josep Borrell, supported by Special Envoy Miroslav Lajcak, Kosovo reports.
A few minutes ago, EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell wrote in his Twitter account that he expects today both leaders will be open to find a common language.
The latest “Tensions in northern Kosovo have again shown that it is time to move forward towards full normalisation. I expect the two leaders to be open and flexible to find the common language”.
We remember that recently concerns have been raised about a possible escalation of the situation in northern Kosovo. This is after Prime Minister Kurti has warned that he will implement reciprocity measures on the issue of license plates and documents with Serbia.
