Kurti-Vucciq meeting expected to begin at 10:30

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, will meet on Thursday 18 August in Brussels, after more than a year from their last meeting, within the EU-brokered dialogue.
The summit on the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue will be held in Brussels, where EU High Representative Josep Borrell and special EU representative Miroslav Lajcak will be present.
On the official site of the European Union, it becomes known that the meeting will begin at 10:30 Thursday and will focus on the road ahead on dialogue and the achievement of a comprehensive normalisation agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. Current issues will also be addressed during the meeting, and tensions between the sides will be aimed. The EU's high representative will also hold separate meetings with each leader.
At the end of the meeting, EU High Representative Josep Borrell will hold a statement to the media. The statement by High Representative Borrell will be broadcast live on the official EU page and published on the (EEAS) website.
Meanwhile on the eve of meetings in Brussels, Prime Minister of Albin Kurti, together with Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, met the European Union's Special Representative to Kosovo and the ambassadors of QUINT states on Tuesday 16 August, the REL reports.
The focus of the meeting was the upcoming meetings in Brussels, as well as the processes and issues related to dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The commitment to continuing co-operation and co-ordination between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and representatives of the European Union, the United States of America, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy was stressed during the meeting.
