Kurti: False news led to barricades in the north

“At yesterday's cabinet meeting I've noted the dangers of false news, especially regarding our decisions on car license plates and introspective documents at border points with Serbia. This dezinformation led to barricades and violations of free movement in northern Kosovo”, Kurti wrote in addition to the distribution of the video he speaks in the Serbian language on the issue.
Kurti yesterday said the Ministry of Internal Affairs has published all reports in Albanian and Serbian, while there have been information activities on the ground.
“Converting vehicle license plates from illegal vehicles to those RKS serves order and law, public security and free movement throughout our Republic”, Kurti said yesterday.
The prime minister cited tax release and tariffs in this case, which said that the “total value amounts to about 5 thousand euros”.
He also spoke about the decision on equipment with the exit document, which was postponed to start implementing on September 1st.
“The decision to enable the input- exit document will not hinder freedom of movement”.
