Six people have been arrested by Kukes Police after attempting to trafficking firearms and war ammunition towards Kosovo.
In the three - circuit operation, Kukes, Durres, and Debar fell into police handcuffs: R. S., 28, resident of Debar; B. S., 24, resident of Bulqiza; B. N., 33, resident of Durres; W. H., 27, resident of Debar; H. H., 59, resident of Durres, and K. B., 61, residents in Fushesh-Cruille.
All six men were arrested in falgarza in the outer environments of a gas station, with 1 automatic firearm, 1 gungun gun fired “Glock”, quantities of combat ammunition, as well as a total of $22,000 and 710 euros, which were seized in the quality of material evidence.
Investigations are under way for identifying and putting the legal responsibility of other persons involved in Kosovo's criminal activity of firearms trafficking. /euronews/
