Fund sharing required for private sector employees

In addition to demands and strikes being held in the country by public sector workers for financial support in additional salaries, financial support from the government is also being sought for private sector workers with 100 euros. As a result of the energy crisis and high inflation, the private sector is facing financial problems, job maintenance and production.
Economy expert Safet Gerjaliu tells Kosovo that the economic and social situation in Kosovo is burdened by inflation and the energy crisis.
The former head of the Kosovo Economic Ode emphasises that the Kosovo government should deal with all working sectors equally and should not be overlooked by the private sector, which is a filler of the state budget.
Gerjaliu says private sector workers should also be supported by 100 euros.
It is a time when Kosovo institutions should have comprehensive non-sectorial or fragmented approaches. The private sector should not be overlooked in this direction, but problems that are downplayed and not addressed as problems are emerging to be large. We have not agreed that political agendas and dialogue should be priority priorities or they will dominate the agenda, and I am afraid that thanks to this dominance of the political agenda and Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, many economic problems are being overlooked, there is no time for treatment. Therefore, private sector and private sector employees should also be treated to enjoy state assistance”, Gerjaliu points out.
Experts Gerjaliu emphasise that it is institutional to support citizens and workers at this time when there are uncontrolled price hikes.
It's a time when we really need to have a more human, more solid approach, and today the private sector feels the hand and willingness of the state to help. Besides inflation, we have an increase in the uncontrolled price of electricity, I believe that the situation is getting worse not only in the service sectors, but also in that producer, so it's time for action and not always to waste time in finding the reason for failure”, he says.
According to Gerxhaliu, the biggest mistake remains the bypass of the economic crisis by the Government of Kosovo. He says the private sector has remained at the mercy of time and the entrepreneurs themselves.
There is no solution to problems until the problem is overlooked, and in this direction I think the error has been made in steps, so that instead of sitting down and advancing real private dialogue, to have the dialogue campaign with citizens, we have promoted development figures that have added citizens' expectations that the government or state do more at this time of crisis. What is to worry is the current situation of the private sector in Kosovo. There can be neither political nor social stability without economic development, and it must be understood that the bearer of economic development in Kosovo is the private sector. The private sector has remained at the mercy of the time and the entrepreneurs themselves, he points out.
The government's recent financial support for the workers was five months ago, in early April, where the government had decided to approve Pako financial support: from 100 euros for private and public sector workers, students and pensioners. The total value of this assistance was around 100m euros.
