Although they say there is no indicator of the government's collapse, they say it could have the impact of the country going to the polls if conditioned.
University professor Milazim Krasniqi in an interview for Online Economics has said the government can tear itself down, but indicators and causes to bring down Government are not.
On the other hand, Krasniqi said the association should be formed, but says even formation should be made on the basis of the Constitutional findings, eliminating any elements that could be associated with any kind of executive power.
I believe that the Government has no reason to fall because of the dialogue because our government has majority in parliament and has the opposition's support for dialogue and has the support to move towards the final agreement. The government can tear itself down, but indicators and causes to bring down Government have no way. I believe that association should be formed because it is an international obligation Kosovo has taken with the ratification of the agreement at Parliament”.
“The Union must be formed in accordance with the findings of the Constitutional Court by eliminating any elements that could be associated with any kind of executive power. I am convinced that the Government should take diplomatic offensive in that sense to draft a statute and not leave the initiative to Serbia. The Serb problem cannot be solved with police units, and cannot be solved without an agreement. Ahtisaari's plan, as well as the Brussels agreement, has envisioned the formation of Serb majority municipalities”, Krasniqi said.
While political analyst Arbnor Sadiku in an interview for Online Economics has said that if the Kurti Government -- by the fall of 2022 -- will not have ready a draft statute for the Association of Serb-run municipalities, Kosovo will lose the international community.
Otherwise, he said either the Association will be established or Kosovo will go to new elections.
“Of course the Government of Kosovo will also have its percussions. First, there will be tests by the American government and the EU for economic and political sanctions. This implies, especially for the Kurti Government, that if by the fall of 2022, there will not be the establishment of a draft statute for Asociaconi of Serb majority municipalities and the implementation of international agreements signed in Brussels, they will lose the international community and will not offer support or meetings with European statesmen and the US”.
This means that it will be isolated internationally and will lose international legitimacy and legitimacy to stay further at the head of government, Mr. Kurti and Vetevendosje Movement. So we can go to new elections, where then we can have an LDK- The PDK to conduct the dialogue with Serbia and reach an agreement in the next 2-3 years”.
According to him, this does not coincide with Kosovo, because the sooner a final agreement is reached with Serbia is in its geopolitical interest.
“/or you will establish Association, or you will have future elections. This does not represent Kosovo, because for Kosovo as soon as a final agreement is reached with Serbia is in its interest because geopolitical and geostrategic situations in Europe and the world are in favour of Kosovo, as we have damaged Russia's international image, Serbia's main ally. On the other hand, the more the reaching of the agreement is envisioned in Serbia's favour”.
“We cannot have an exact date, say this year or next year, but the sooner an agreement is reached is to the benefit of Kosovo's citizens because Kosovo will not have conflicting citizenship and will be joined by international organisations. Thus will round Kosovo's citizenship, on the other hand Serbia moves towards the European Union and wins the candidate statute and is a step ahead of membership in the European Union”, Sadiku said.
