The European Commission's Directorate General for Neighborship and Enlargement, through a post on the official page, has called for more visitors to Kosovo, describing the country as a potential candidate for EU membership.
As stated in the post, the EU is Kosovo's most important political and economic partner, as well as the key investor and donor, as it said significant progress is needed to strengthen the rule of law.
There are many challenges, and significant progress is needed to strengthen rule of law, address corruption and work toward a cleaner environment. EU support for Kosovo seeks to build current progress and create a better future for its citizens”, the post says.
In calling “Let's find out Kosovo”, some interesting characteristics have emerged, saying that 24 percent of the population is made up of young people less than 15 years old, while 29.1 percent are 30-34.
“Funding programmes and co-operation extend to many areas such as energy efficiency, infrastructure development, youth training, cultural heritage, and a lot of life”, the European Commission's post of neighbouring and EU Enlargement says.
